Guidelines for Grant Seekers

Granting Reports

Granting Process

The Noble Foundation will accept letters of inquiry submitted through our online grants management system from January 1 through June 1 every year. The requests will be reviewed in a preliminary manner based on the initial letter of inquiry prior to the distribution of formal grant applications.

General areas of interest

The primary focus of the Noble Foundation granting program is funding agricultural research conducted by Noble Research Institute. In addition, funding is provided to charitable organizations that cultivate good health, support education and build stronger communities. Generally, the emphasis of our grantmaking is geographically focused on Oklahoma organizations and projects. The Noble Foundation will not consider requests for multiyear commitments.

Applicant qualifications

Proposals are considered only from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations located within the United States.

No loans or grants are available for individuals or for-profit entities.

Required letter of inquiry

Before a formal grant application will be distributed to the requesting organization (for completion and return to the Noble Foundation), the grant-seeking organization must submit a letter of inquiry through our online grants management system. The form will require the nonprofit’s tax ID (EIN) number, contact information, and a summary of both the organization and the project for which the grant is requested. Individuals representing nonprofit organizations may contact a philanthropy staff member for guidance.
